Building a Better Brain with Micronutrients

If you want full Associate Membership (which includes this webinar too) continue here.

This is a recording of our LIVE webinar and Q&A Session.

Over the last few decades, scientists have been uncovering an uncomfortable truth:

What we eat is affecting our mental health

Professor Rucklidge will discuss what happens when diet change alone isn’t sufficient and when supplementation with broad-based micronutrients might be appropriate to treat psychiatric symptoms.

She will review the theory, mechanisms of action and the evidence to date that nutritional supplementation can help in a range of conditions including:

  • pregnancy, and maternal mental health
  • ADHD
  • stress, anxiety, PTSD
  • mood and emotional dysregulation

The talk intends to challenge our current treatment regime for mental disorders and suggest an alternative course of action.

Professor Julia Rucklidge, a clinical psychologist, is the Director of Te Puna Toiora, the Mental Health and Nutrition Research Lab at the University of Canterbury.

In addition to the presentation slides, you will also receive additional resources, downloadable handouts and other materials after the event on key topics discussed, including summaries of Q&A points.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session – and a few days after the webinar, all attendees will receive handouts of both the speakers’ slides and other information relevant to the topics discussed.
